AMONG OTHER ACTIVITIES, HYPERMD'S SERVICES ENABLE COORDINATION AND COMMUNICATION WITH A HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. IT DOES NOT REPLACE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH ANY PHYSICIAN. THESE SERVICES MIGHT NOT BE APPROPRIATE FOR ALL MEDICAL CONDITIONS OR FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS. ALWAYS SEEK THE ADVICE OF YOUR PHYSICIAN OR OTHER QUALIFIED HEALTH CARE PROVIDER WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE REGARDING A MEDICAL CONDITION OR TREATMENT. NEVER DISREGARD PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL ADVICE OR DELAY SEEKING IT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING YOU HAVE READ OR RECEIVED THROUGH THE SERVICES. IF YOU THINK YOU MAY HAVE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY, CALL 911 OR GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY.

This policy explains how your hyperMD treatment plan renews, how to cancel it, and when you can receive a refund. It is part of our Terms of Service.

hyperMD is the seller of record for your treatment plan. Charges appear on your card statement as HYPERMD INC A PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION. hyperMD does not practice medicine and does not dispense medication. Licensed health care providers make all clinical decisions, and licensed pharmacies dispense and ship any medication.

Cancel Anytime

You may cancel your treatment plan at any time. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum commitment.

Once you cancel, you will not be charged for any future renewal period. Cancelling does not automatically refund charges for a treatment cycle you have already paid for, and it does not automatically stop a prescription order that a pharmacy has already begun processing. The sections below explain where those lines fall.

How Your Plan Renews

Your plan renews automatically at the frequency and price shown at checkout and in your account, until you cancel. We charge the payment method on file on each renewal date. Your price includes standard shipping.

We will tell you before charges occur or change. We send a reminder before each renewal that states the treatment plan, the renewal date, the amount, and how to cancel. If the price of your plan changes, we will notify you at least seven days and no more than thirty days before the new price takes effect, and we will tell you how to cancel.

How to Cancel

You may cancel in whichever way is easiest for you.

  • Online: log in to your account at hypermd.com and select Cancel Plan. Cancellation takes effect immediately and you do not need to speak with anyone.
  • Email: support@hypermd.com
  • Phone: +1 (949) 297-6446

Your cancellation is effective as soon as your request is submitted or received. We will send you a written confirmation. If you do not receive one within twenty-four hours, please contact us so we can confirm that your request went through.

What Cancellation Stops and What It Does Not

Cancellation stops all future renewal charges. If you cancel before your next renewal date, you will not be charged again.

Cancellation does not automatically undo a treatment cycle already in progress. Once your prescription has been sent to a pharmacy and the pharmacy begins preparing, compounding, or dispensing it, the pharmacy's work has begun and that order generally cannot be cancelled or refunded.

We will always tell you what stage your current cycle has reached when you cancel, and what that means for a refund.

Refund Eligibility

You will receive a full refund if:

  • you cancel before your prescription order has been sent to a pharmacy;
  • a provider determines that you are not eligible for treatment;
  • you were charged after your cancellation took effect;
  • you were charged twice or charged in error;
  • your order was never shipped and cannot be fulfilled; or
  • applicable law requires a refund.

You will receive a partial refund if your treatment cycle includes more than one shipment and you cancel before all of them have been sent to the pharmacy. We refund the shipments that have not been sent.

You may choose a refund instead of a replacement if a shipment was lost, damaged, incorrect, or defective, as described under Medication Returns below.

We cannot refund medication that a pharmacy has already begun compounding or dispensing, or that has already been shipped to you, except as described under Medication Returns below.

If you believe any charge is incorrect, please contact us before disputing it with your bank. We will respond within five (5) business days.

Medication Returns

Prescription medication is not like an ordinary retail product. Once a prescription has been dispensed and shipped to you, pharmacy law and patient safety rules generally prevent a pharmacy from accepting it back into inventory or dispensing it to anyone else. For that reason, dispensed medication is generally not refundable and not returnable, even if it is unopened.

A shipment that went wrong is different. Please contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date if your order arrived damaged or compromised, contains the wrong medication, strength, or quantity, or is defective. If your order never arrived, please contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date. We will work with the pharmacy to replace or refund it at no cost to you.

Refrigerate on arrival. Packaging is designed to keep your medication within its storage range during transit. If the medication appears discolored, cloudy, or damaged, do not use it. Contact support within 48 hours.

Do not use medication that appears damaged, tampered with, or incorrect. Contact us first.

Please do not mail medication back to us. Ask your pharmacist about safe disposal or use a drug take-back location listed at https://apps.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/pubdispsearch. Drug take-back locations generally do not accept needles. Place used needles and syringes in an FDA-cleared sharps disposal container and follow your local or state rules for disposing of it.

Billing Errors and Fulfillment Problems

Please contact us right away if you see a charge you do not recognize, a duplicate charge, a charge after cancellation, or a charge that does not match the price you agreed to. We will investigate and respond within five (5) business days, and where we made the error we will refund it in full.

Medical Considerations

Cancelling your plan is a billing decision and is not medical advice. Do not start, stop, or change any medication based on this policy.

If you are considering stopping treatment, or you have questions about what happens when you do, please message your provider through your account before making any changes. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
